Filter presses are liquid/solid filtration and separation devices and offer dewatering solutions to many process flows. During filter press operation a suspension flows through a filter cloth that is permeable only for liquids. Solids are retained at the filter cloth and a so-called filter cake builds up in the course of the filtration time. Chamber filter presses are used in order to obtain high TS value. |
