The Palas® GmbH has been active as an internationally recognised company for more than 20 years in the field of aerosol technology. Palas® develops and sells complete filter test rigs according to international standards and to customer’s requirements and also upgrades old test rigs. In the year 2004, the company has developed several new devices which help to advance the filter testing. A particular innovation is the new modular filter test rig MFP-3000 for filter media and small filter elements. The test rig operates by suction and is equipped with the new particle measuring device welas® 3000 for quasi simultaneous particle measurements upstream and downstream the filter. Measurements up to 1000 mg/m³ without dilution are possible with this system. The gravimetric determination of the total grade efficiency is also possible.
