atech innovations gmbh

atech innovations gmbh develops and manufactures ceramic membranes for cross-flow microfiltration and ultrafiltration. After its foundation in the beginning of 1989 atech initially did business in Germany as a distributor of ceramic membranes produced by a third party while at the same time developing, producing and selling membrane filtration plants based on precisely this ceramic membrane technology. In 1991, atech started its own production of ceramic membranes with a view to penetrate the market with a product that was competitive to the then widely accepted organic membranes. The production of filtration plants was soon discontinued, in 1993, in order to focus exclusively on membrane technology.

Increased outsourcing of activities which are not directly related to the core business of membrane technology and constantly optimising the membrane design in terms of packing density are factors contributing to our growing competitiveness with regard to comparable products and in particular with regard to organic membranes. Based on technically mature products and using application technologies of international reputation the engineers of atech innovations gmbh are now working on improving cost effectiveness even further.
