GIT VERLAG is specialised in practice-orientated, modern, special-interest journals. At present, we publish a total of 30 titles, two of which are in newspaper format. GIT VERLAG also publishes text books. We have a long tradition of close networking with the industrial and research sectors. We are a competent and creative service provider in the marketing and marketing services sectors. Almost 3,000 companies work together with us, and we publish articles by more than 1,500 authors each year.
More than two million copies of our titles will be distributed world-wide this year. The basis for our distribution network is our own database with more than half a million personal addresses which we have compiled ourselves and which is permanently maintained and updated by our staff.
The origins of the publishing house go back to 1969 and a journal from which we took our name: GIT stands for ‘Glass and Instrument Technology’, and this is now the most successful specialist journal for the laboratory sector in Europe.
