ULPA Filter are more efficient than HEPA Filter. ULPA Filter are also used in cleanrooms with highest requirements (ISO class 100 and better). ULPA Filter have an efficiency of at minimum 99.999% for particles larger than 0.1–0.3 µm. The European standard for the classification of ULPA Filter is the EN 1822 with the filter classes U15-U17.
